Roller Derby is alive and thriving in Aurora, Illinois. The Aurora 88s Roller Derby League was founded in 2011. The league found its home at the Aurora Skate Center, bringing with it the excitement of flat track roller derby!

• Our season consists of 4-6 home games and typically runs from March–October.

• Home games average 250 fans in attendance.

• Our league and audience come from diverse backgrounds and extend beyond traditional sports fans.

• The Aurora 88s have over 6,000 Facebook fans and more than 1,700 Instagram followers.

• The roller derby community is passionate, powerful, and engaging.

• We are inclusive, supportive, and welcoming to all people.

• We provide a safe environment that nurtures confidence and strength through athleticism.
